To coordinate efforts bringing frequent, affordable, safe, reliable, environmentally friendly marine transportation solutions that will improve accessibility and opportunities for Daufuskie Island, the Lowcountry and beyond.
Our Vision
An interconnected marine highway system to move passengers and cargo throughout the Lowcountry & Coastal Empire with daytime and evening transit options to allow added access for tourists, workers, & residents.
Phase 1: Connect Pinckney, Daufuskie, & Fields Cut
Phase 2 (and beyond): expand access to Beaufort & Savannah areas with potential route options to St Helena (Fort Fremont), Port Royal, & Tybee Island

How can you help?
Support our ongoing efforts by getting involved in two key ways. First, you can sign a letter of support, demonstrating public backing and highlighting the importance of the ferry system for local communities. Sign our letter here, or submit your own to secretary@ditma.org.
Second, you can make a donation to directly contribute to the cause, helping to fund advocacy efforts and resources needed to continue our push for government financial support. Both actions show strong community commitment and can amplify DITMA's efforts in securing the necessary funding to revolutionize our ferry and barge services.
